Columbia is located in the Midlands of SC. We have a low cost of living and currently have the lowest gas prices in the country. Columbia is 1.5 hours from our beautiful beaches and 1.5 hours from the mountains to the north west. We are a university town and also the state capitol. We get warm here in the summer averaging 90+ but we have very mild winters with daytime highs in the 60s and 70s.
